Where the ingredients come from
Amla is the Indian gooseberry – a small, very sour green fruit, among the oldest plants of the ayurvedic home pharmacy and one of the components of the well-known triphala blend. In South Asia it is traditionally used for hair oils and hair soaps.

When it suits
As a solid alternative to shampoo. The first time round, hair often needs two or three attempts to adjust – that is normal and it settles.

To make it last
Let it dry after washing; do not leave it lying in the wet shower.
