Product description
Product description
Handmade notebook in hand-formed paper, made from recycled cotton offcuts and waste paper. The lightly textured surface gives every book a character of its own.
The cover carries the Buddha Eyes in fine gold print – a well-known symbol from Nepal standing for mindfulness, wisdom and inner peace.
Thanks to the traditional handwork, every notebook is a small one-off and makes fine company for quiet moments of writing.
Ideal as a diary, travel notebook, or a small gift for people who value sustainability and a spiritual aesthetic.

What this paper is made of
Unlike the lokta paper elsewhere in the range, this one comes from a second life: from cotton offcuts of textile production and waste paper. Both are soaked, broken down into pulp and formed anew by hand. Cotton fibres are longer than wood fibres, which is why paper like this is considerably more tear-resistant than ordinary recycled paper.
How it is made
Formed and bound in small workshops in Nepal.
With your purchase you support sustainable paper production and fair work opportunities in Nepal.
