Product description

Handmade Lokta paper in A4 format, traditionally made in Nepal from the bark of the Lokta shrub. The paper has a naturally fine texture and a unique character – each sheet is one of a kind.

At the same time, the edges are cleanly cut, making the paper ideal for printing, cards, creative projects or paper crafts.

You can choose between two paper weights, depending on the project.

Paper thicknesses:

40 gsm – light & flexible
This variant is thin and versatile, for example for:

– Print (depending on the printer, it's best to test with a sheet of paper beforehand)
– Letters, Journaling & Notes
– Inserts, envelopes or collages
– Origami & fine paper crafts

150 gsm – stable & high-quality
This variant is significantly firmer and particularly suitable for:

– Postcards & Greeting Cards
– Invitations
– Covers, envelopes or signs
– Mixed media & DIY projects

Print note:

For best printing results, I recommend:
– test with one sheet first
– In the print dialog, select “thicker paper” or “special paper” if necessary.
– For sensitive printers, insert the paper one sheet at a time.

Quality & Origin

Lokta grows naturally in the high altitudes of Nepal and can be harvested without damaging the plant. The paper is traditionally handmade and is therefore particularly sustainable.

With your purchase you support traditional papermaking from Nepal.
