Rhododendron Soap

Fresh, delicately floral natural soap with rhododendron and mountain blossom honey.

Where the ingredients come from
The rhododendron is Nepal's national flower. In Nepali it is called ‘lali gurans’, and when it blooms in spring whole hillsides in the middle ranges turn red. It grows there at altitudes between roughly 1,500 and 3,500 metres. The mountain blossom honey comes from bees that forage at exactly those altitudes.

When it suits
In the morning, when things should feel light and fresh. And as something to bring back from a trip: in Nepal rhododendron soap is an everyday item, outside the country you can hardly find it anywhere. I have certainly never seen it anywhere else.

To make it last
Let it dry out between uses; standing water softens any natural soap.
