Fabric description
Bamboo-cotton fabric from Nepal with real leaf imprints, made by the eco-print process. Plant leaves are laid directly on the fabric, rolled up and boiled – the natural pigments transfer permanently into the weave.
So the pattern is not a print but a natural process. Shape, intensity and colour gradient turn out differently with every imprint.

Quality & Origin
Quality & Origin
Eco print is a traditional dyeing technique in which the plant itself creates the pattern. In Nepal it is carried out by hand in small workshops – every metre of fabric goes through the process individually.
Irregularities, variations in colour and differing leaf structures are part of it and make the character of the fabric. They are not a fault.
With your purchase you support small workshops in Nepal and help keep this demanding craft alive.
