Soft bamboo-cotton fabric from Nepal, plant-dyed in warm earth tones. The colours come from indigo, madder root, walnut husks and myrobalan fruit – plants that have been used for dyeing for centuries.
The blend of bamboo and cotton fibre falls soft and fluid, feels pleasantly cool against the skin and is still stable enough to sew.

This fabric is made in Nepal in a small workshop that works with sustainable textile projects. Dyeing is done exclusively with plant colours, following traditional knowledge.
Because plant dyes behave as living materials, fine variations in shade occur – no bolt is exactly like another. If you need a larger quantity in the same colour, it is best to order it together.
With your purchase you support small workshops in Nepal and help keep traditional dyeing craft and fair working conditions alive.
