Scent & Effect

Incense cones made from recycled temple flowers – strong and room-filling. Available in four varieties; each box holds 20 cones of one variety.

Where the material comes from
In Nepal, vast quantities of flowers are brought to the temples as offerings every day – marigolds, roses, jasmine. After a day or two they have wilted and are thrown away. A Nepalese environmental company collects these blossoms, dries them and works them together with ayurvedic herbs into incense cones. What began as an offering is burned a second time.

The four varieties
Himalayan Bliss – ayurvedic herbs, green juniper and pine with recycled blossoms. Grounding and clear.
Sugandabaal – sugandabaal blossoms and a herb blend. Floral-spicy and warm.
Juniper – wild-gathered juniper from the Himalayan forests. Fresh, woody, evergreen.
Cedarwood – cedarwood. Warm, dry and deep.

Worth knowing
These cones are very intense. A single one fills a whole room, and the scent lingers for a long time afterwards. If you like strong incense, this is exactly right. If you are sensitive to smoke or prefer delicate scents, the classic sticks are the better choice.

When they suit
For rituals, meditation and mindful moments. In larger rooms and with a window on the latch. Light the tip, let it burn briefly, then blow the flame out.

Scent profile: strong, room-filling
