Musk as an incense stick – warm and sensual.

Where the scent comes from
One clarification is worth making here: real musk came from the musk deer, which also lives in the Himalayas. The animal has been strictly protected for decades and trade in it is banned internationally – animal musk is not used in incense and is not in these sticks either. Today ‘musk’ describes a direction of scent, not a raw material: warm, soft, slightly powdery. The base of these sticks is sandalwood.

When it suits
In the evening and in living rooms. Musk is a soft, round scent with no sharp edges – good when nothing should stand out and you simply want a pleasant base note in the room.
