Where the name comes from
The name recalls yajna, the Vedic fire offering: one of the oldest rituals of South Asia, in which butter, grains and fragrant substances are given to the fire. Anyone passing a temple in Nepal and seeing smoke rise is often looking at the small everyday form of it.

Where the scent comes from
Four ingredients that rarely appear together: sandalwood for the creamy warmth, cinnamon for the sweetness, patchouli for the earthy depth and frankincense for the resinous clarity. One of the most complex blends in the shop.

When it suits
In winter, on holidays, in larger rooms. If you already know you like strong scents, this is for you.
